Healthcare discount doesn't apply for others working in the Emergency Department?
Hi there, I am a state licensed radiology technologist working in Washington state. I was told I could receive a healthcare discount because of this. At the store they said I needed to work in the emergency department which I do. I am not a nurse but I work in the same environment caring for the same patients. I am wondering if there will be any widening of the roles allowed for the healthcare discount? Thanks

AT&T has always been tight on who they consider a HeathCare worker for the discount, for various reasons. My son is a Clinical Pharmacist who does a lot of his work in the ER, surgery, and ICU and he can't get the HealthCare worker discount.

This subject has been discussed ad nauseam.
Originally it was doctors, nurses & PA-Cs. I believe they added CNAs recently. Any additional job descriptions will be up to TPTB.
