Installment credit for Iphone
My Iphone is on installment payment of 36 months. I have monthly trade in credit of $9 - currently on 6/36 installment. I need to payoff my phone completely to unlock the esim so I can use esim while abroad, if I payoff my phone completely, would I loose the monthly trade in credit spread over 36 months?

Safest way to pay it off is via the online portal. Seems like calling in and paying it off that way can cause more issues.

Possibly. If you make no changes to your plan and keep service for the full 36 months, you may be able to keep getting your $9 monthly credit.

As long as you don't do anything else to void the deal. Do not suspend your phone line while you're out of the country.
Pay off yourself in your online account with a debit or credit card. Then submit the unlock online
Trade in early upgrade deals will not void the credits.
If your phone was acquired under a no trade-in required deal the credits would stop. If you're getting $9 a month, it must have been a $350 trade-in deal so you are safe
