Online Bill, texts with @ email to mobile

In the column that usually says mobile to mobile under the text tab it states email to mobile and it doesn't show a number or email address it just shows the @ symbol. 

Ching2598, I’ve asked about the same thing, they always tell me to use chat, or call or some other way, I’ve tried it all. I even went to an att store. I find it amazing how a company uses these symbols for email to mobile but can’t give an explanation. 

It usually means that a text message was sent from an email, to your phone number. 

If you don't delete your text messages you might see some of your text messages have a strange number in front of them I think it's 1410 or 111 0410

To send an email to an AT&T wireless number as a text message, you can compose a new email and enter the recipient's 10-digit wireless number followed by @txt.att.net. For example, [email scrubbed]. Do not include spaces or dashes between the numbers. The message can also be delivered as a picture or video message. 

Yes I understand  everything you said……but I’ve been there done that. I know it’s an.email to mobile, it says that on my call log…..but a picture of the little telephone with a @ sign ……that don’t tell me who sent it.
