Out of control bill

I moved a line over to att from Verizon the store manager opened a business account instead of a personal account and then had an extra phone and line which I did not have being charged to my bill I went right back for her to remove it and long story short it’s been over 7 mo nothing done being charged over $150 extra a month that I would not pay cause she said it was getting handle I have every last message on my phone now my line suspended and I have a $2000 bill in limbo she even gave me a temporary line but I fine out it’s to her personal account please help or I’m going to a lawyer I had fox 61 news investigates get in touch with me after I reached out but I’m here trying to get something done before I move forward

Why didn't you complain as soon as this happened?  The FCC is the governing body over cellular service providers. A free complaint online to the FCC would have gotten this resolved right after it happened, not months later. Had you asked here months ago, this is what we would have told you to do. 🤦🏼‍♀️

So you went back to the store to have them remove the line that you did not ask for. And?

They said _____?

What nothing?

Did they say they would remove it and then did not remove it? 

And there's a longer story in there and you put no info.

I have messages between me and the manager saying since that first month that she is taking it off and crediting my account that was the story every time I asked . I honestly thought it was being handled since she is the store manager… my line was suspended at like the 4 month mark and she gave me the same story all on message again I should of known she wasn’t doing anything now I’m stuck

I paid to turn my service back on since my doctors had that number and I had open heart surgery so they had to be able to phone me then at the 7 mo mark it was too much and i stopped payment and demanded they fix it and here i am today . I do not kno about the fcc thank you i put in a detailed complaint with messages and the store info

If you do not pay your bill in full you are at risk of having your service suspended at anytime. No matter the reason for nonpayment.

I hate to cast aspersions against someone that I do not know, but in my opinion after 4 months, I'd say the manager was taking you for a ride. Someone in that store added the additional line. If it's removed within 6 months it hurts their metrics.

You may think they were doing your favor, they really were not. 

Instead they were trying to make you happy, at the same time putting credits on your account to try to offset the new charges that they caused. And essentially stealing money from AT&T by doing so. 

You should definitely talk directly to AT&T and report the store. And don't shop there anymore

@formerlyknownas I reported to the fcc gave them all the information and account numbers also the photos of the messages let’s see where it goes thanks for your input I agree with you it (Edited per community guidelines) how far some people will go for personal gain .
