trade-in Problem
Two months ago, I traded in two iPhone 12 Pro Max units for new iPhone 15 Pro Max models. I returned both iPhone 12 Pro Max units in one box with the return label attached. However, I was informed that only one of the two phones had been processed for return. The other one has not been processed yet.
I sent both in one box, so I can't understand why only one has been marked as returned. I tried contacting customer service, but it was hard to connect with an agent, and my calls kept getting disconnected. I've heard about these kinds of issues happening frequently, but it's incredibly frustrating to experience it myself. Can I get some help with this situation?

This is 100% the problem.
Each label connects one phone back to one phone number on your account for the purposes of giving Bill credits.
You should not have sent two phones with one label. The extra phone - they have no idea what to do with, because they cannot apply credits for two phones against one phone number.
The phones do not go to AT&T, they go to a third party trade-in facility called Assurant mobile in lavergne, Tennessee. They are probably quite stumped as to why they were two phones in the box with only one label.
I don't see this one getting straightened out. Good luck
