New Sim card problem wont let me install AT&T Yahoo SBC GLobal email on new iPhone

When I try to set up my AT&T Yahoo SBC Global email on new iPhone 11, AT&T just keeps saying they recognize a new sim card and sending a code which I enter and then they do it again, and again, and again.

Delete ATT email account — online instructions do not work

I am trying to delete an old pacbell.net free email account. We have not had a paid ATT service for 5+ years. I have seen the online instructions but get stopped at Step 2. I can get to my profile but there is no “Contact Info” to select and nothing else on the Profile page takes me anywhere useful.

I'm trying to connect my @sbcglobal.net with Outlook. Google said that you still do it without an additional Password app, but I still can't connect via Outlook 'add a new account' option. Does anybody know what kind of encryption method, port # and imap/smtp setup I need?Appreciate
