Any danger in configuring TP-Link AC-2300 router in DMZ mode behind Pace 5268 and opening all ports

... on Pace gateway? Will the TP-Link AC2300 router's firewall provide sufficient protection since it will now have a public ip? In this configuration, if I turn RG's wireless off, will the only way to access settings then be by directly connecting a pc via ethernet? Can I setup an additional router

AirTies 4920 setup with a 5268 issue

Supposedly one is able to connect a 4920 to a 5268 via WPS, or cabled. Neither connections have allowed an initial setup. Password on the 4920 is returned as incorrect when going to airties4920.local, even after multiple factory default resets. Can find nothing online to assist me. Customer Support

PACE 5268 -- Wifi Woes with 5GHZ -- Are these boxes junk?

We just got fiber and they installed a new 5268 because of problems we were having with the 5GHZ network disappearing.   Everything has been great for 6 days.   Today I went to use my Fire stick and it could not connect to 5GHZ.   Since the stick was new, I assumed it must be something in the stick.

Is NTP service still blocked? Are there still issues with port forwarding? Is gig speed fiber still slow for most people? Does the Pace 5268AC still not hold firewall rules consistently? Can you turn off Wi-Fi completely on the Pace unit yet and not have it restart and broadcast an SSID just because

I'm considering upgrading to the 24M U-verse service which is about the same monthly cost, but this would require a change from the 3800
