Will cancelling my ATT service be the only way to delete my original yahoo account?

Is there a way to restore my contact list? Thank you.

I am no longer receiving MMS messages - again. This has happened before. I've tried all of the solutions posted for all of the other people who have and/or are having the same issue. None of the solutions work. there have been no changes to my device or settings and I was receiving MMS messages up
