home phone doesn't display name with number for names in the directory

We have 19 names with phone numbers in the directory. Incoming call only shows name on one of the callers in our directory.

Accidentally deleted, just now!, all old messages on an ATT landline cordless Model #SL82418? Can they be recovered? I've deleted my wifes dead grandmopther, I'm in big trouble... Thanks anyone! Chris
