Hi, I got a MR1100 from eBay. But wifi is disabled. I used the USB to connect to the device and tried to turn wifi on. Nothing worked. I haven't put the SIM card in though. Does the device require a SIM card in place before turning on wifi? Thanks. Thanks much for your help.

Unable to send text when connected to ATT wifi

Can send imessages, but not texts. We're on our home wifi and connected. It says "AT&T Wifi" at the top. But texts consistently fail to all phone numbers.
