AT&T says I sent wrong phone and charging me $800!!!

So I use AT&T Next and I get a new phone every year. I have to mail the phone back to AT&T using their own label. I traded my old 12pro max for the 15 2 days ago- I thought i could get use to the size difference but i absolutely cannot. It’s uncomfortably small. Am i able to go “exchange” the phone for the 15 pro with no additional upgrade fee as long as i do it within 14 days?

I recently decided i wanted to trade in my iphone 13 pro to get a 15 pro max. Once i got to the step of resetting my old phone, i couldn’t make myself go through with it as this phone actually has a long story behind it. If i don’t turn in my trade in, will AT&T list it as stolen or blacklist it

Asurion trade in still in transit
